OU Medical Center Edmond's Level III emergency department combines skill, teamwork, and compassion for those times when medical attention is needed but not planned.
The emergency department is staffed 24 hours daily with highly trained physicians and medical personnel that specialize in emergency medical treatment. Our ten bed unit offers private rooms for patients for enhanced comfort and confidentiality of medical information. Our recently remodeled emergency department features calming colors, flat screen televisions in every room, and an enhanced nurses' station steps away from all patient rooms.
Located at the corner of Second and Bryant streets in the heart of Edmond, our emergency department offers convenient service just a short drive for many of the area's residents. Our facility also proudly serves as a metro emergency management Level II trauma center when called upon by the emergency response system -- the ONLY facility in Edmond to do so. With some of the fastest wait times in the metro, our emergency department works with you to ease life's unexpected bumps and bruises.
