A History of Graduating Quality, Rural Family Doctors...

Enid Family Medicine Clinic (EFMC) began graduating quality family medicine providers in 1978. As of mid 2007, 89 physicians have graduated from the program. A January 2005 national study found EFMC one of the Top 10 Programs in the nation for placing family physicians in rural areas.

Our mission is to train the doctors of tomorrow today for rural practice. Services include: Treatment of most illnesses of the entire family, Women's Health, Pre-Natal Care, Diabetes Care & Education, Well Child Checks, Immunizations, Pediatrics, Cancer Screenings, Social Service Consultation & Referral. EFMC strives to bring the most current scientific, cost-effective treatment available in the most caring and compassionate manner.

The key to the programs' long standing success has been highly skilled doctors training new doctors in a practice reflecting what it is like after graduation. The Program Director has over 27 years of teaching experience and many of the community teaching physicians have over 20 years of experience teaching.

This program is the perfect combination of leading edge healthcare and technology with home town doctor relationships. Enid Family Medicine was one of the first practices in Enid, Oklahoma to convert to Electronic Medical Record (EMR). The staff of the clinic has significantly long tenure in the field of teaching physicians.
