Current Fellows:

Ashwini Mallappa, MD
Dr. Mallappa is a first-year fellow.  She was a resident at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania.  She is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Jeanie Tryggestad, MD
Dr. Tryggestad is a second-year fellow.  Previously, she was a resident at University of Oklahoma. Dr. Tryggestad was awarded $15,000.00 for the Marilyn Fishman Grant for Diabetes Research from the Endocrine Fellows Foundation.

Past Fellows:

Sowmya Krishnan, MD
Dr. Krishnan graduated in 2008. She became an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma, and is Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.

Laura Chalmers, MD
Dr. Chalmers graduated in 2008. She became an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, and is Board Cerified in General Adult/Pediatrics and Adult/Pediatric Endocrinology.

Luis Casas, MD
Dr. Casas was the first fellow in the program and graduated in 2006. He started a private practice in Tyler, Texas.
