The professional staff of the Orthotics and Prosthetics Section do far more than strengthen and rebuild bodies -- we help people discover new beginnings through expert care, state-of-the-art technology, and a foremost concern for our patients' overall health and well-being.

Serving the department are three ABC certified orthotists, who are specialists in devices used to support, align, correct, or prevent deformities or to improve body function. The staff also includes one ABC certified prosthetist/orthotist, who specializes in the design and use of artificial limbs.

Our experienced staff offers a full range of O&P services and welcomes patients of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. Our orthotists are experienced in treating patients with more than 600 different diagnoses, from foot disorders and sports injuries to fractures, scoliosis, spina bifida and cerebral palsy. Our highly trained prosthetists offer a variety of services ranging from sports prostheses to devices for congenital and pediatric amputee.

Our O&P practitioners use the latest scientific advances, from computer-aided design and myoelectric technology to materials made of carbon fiber, lightweight plastics and resins to create and custom fit devices.
