Doctors in our Neuroscience TV Commercial

With more than 475 physicians practicing at OU Medicine, patients benefit from the ability of their doctors to team with other specialists to review records, discuss treatments and get the best possible outcomes for our patients.  At the end of our neuroscience commercial, several doctors are seen reviewing neurologic scans and collaborating amongst each other. We'd like to introduce you to the real OU Medicine specialists shown in the spot:

Naina Gross, M.D., is a board-certified neurosurgeon, specializing in pediatric neurosurgery. Neurosurgeons at OU Medicine use the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic tools to diagnose and treat conditions of the brain and spine. These, and image-guided surgery techniques, have transformed many major surgeries into more minimally invasive procedures, resulting in fewer complications and reduced recovery time.

Our neurosurgery clinic is located in the Harold Hamm Oklahoma Diabetes Center, 1000 N. Lincoln Blvd., Suite 400. For an appointment, call (405) 271-4912 or go to our neurosurgery page.

Katarzyna J Kedzierska, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist, specializing in neuroradiology -- diagnosing abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous system, spine, and head and neck.

At OU Medicine, radiology specialists have access to cutting-edge technology -- extraordinarily detailed images, faster test results and the best treatment options available anywhere. The most advanced equipment, the newest technology upgrades and the leading diagnostic tools provide the ultimate in treatment options. For more information about radiology services at OU Medicine, go to our radiology page.

Steven Hoover, M.D. and Akram Shhadeh, M.D., are neurointerventionalists. They are both board-certified in neurology and vascular neurology, with additional training in performing minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat diseases involving the brain and spinal cord. Using a technique similar to heart catheterization, they use image-guided techniques to insert a wire and instruments through the blood vessels in the brain to treat strokes and other conditions.

Dr. Hoover and Dr. Shhadeh see patients on the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center campus at 711 Stanton L. Young Blvd., Suite 210. For an appointment with these doctors, call (405) 271-3635. For more information on neurology services at OU Medicine go to our neurology page.
