Amenities

OU Medical Center Edmond is proud to serve the community by offering comfort, compassion, and convenience when you need it the most. Our private rooms and generous visiting hours allow patients to be surrounded by family and friends throughout their stay.

As Edmond's community hospital, we've been serving the medical needs of the area since 1947. With our recent inclusion into the OU Medicine family, we are able to combine cutting edge research and treatments within a smaller community hospital setting.

OU Medical Center Edmond is licensed for 94 beds and is accredited by the Joint Commission. We are the community's largest non-government employer with over 550 employees and a medical staff of over 300. Most of our rooms are private for your comfort: our Autumn Life Center does have some semi-private rooms on the care unit.

For the convenience of our patients and guests,  the following are available amenities are available  on the OU Medical Center Edmond campus:

  • Business Center: A business center complete with Internet access, a fax machine, and printer is available to our visitors in the Visitor's Entrance Lobby, located in the south entrance of the hospital off of 2nd Street.

  • Ye Olde Gift Shoppe: Located just off of the main hospital atrium, Ye Olde Gift Shoppe supplies everything from personal essentials to snacks to a variety of gifts for old and young patients alike. • Volunteer Auxiliary: The OU Medical Center Edmond Auxiliary was organized in 1967 with 56 charter members. The organization was developed with the purpose of cultivating friendly relations and promoting mutual understanding between the patients and hospital staff. Today, this invaluable group of volunteers runs our gift shop, assist patients at registration and throughout the hospital, and provide free blood pressure check every Monday from 1 to 5 pm in our Visitor's Entrance lobby.
