Fit Kid Revolution utilizes games, cooking experiments, and exercise to teach children seven to ten years of age healthy eating and lifestyle habits to combat their risk for obesity. Lead by OU Medical Center Edmond's registered and licensed dietitians, the interactive day camp will engage campers to build healthy lifestyle choices that can be transferred into adolescence and adulthood.

Campers will not only learn the fundamentals of the food pyramid, but will also get the opportunity to experiment concocting their own recipes from healthy ingredients. Included in the day's activities are games and activities designed to get campers moving, grooving and enjoying exercise. At the conclusion of the camp on July 30, the dietitians will meet with each camper's parent or guardian for a progress session that includes individual results and next steps for that camper to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
