Drives for Kids
A Part of Operation ELF!
Sponsoring drives—or collecting a single type item—for The Children's Hospital Volunteers’ Operation ELF project is a great way to support our patients through your organization. Plus, all donated items are tax deductible because The Children's Hospital Volunteers is a 501(c)(3) charity. These items help us to keep the playrooms full of fun options and to keep our Toy Cart stocked with goodies!

Guidelines for Donations
- All donated items must be NEW: hospitalized children are more susceptible to germs
- No stuffed animals, please: fabric cannot be properly cleaned (all-plastic toys are great in the hospital!)
- We have culturally and religiously diverse families, so donations may not be political or religious in nature.
- If you wish to use “The Children’s Hospital Volunteers” name in publicizing your drive, it must be approved. Please, e-mail materials for approval to glenna.hoke@hcahealthcare.com. Call 405-271-4870 if you have any questions.
- Volunteers & hospital staff distribute donated items to children and families—to protect the privacy of families and limit germs in the environment.
