This policy may be accessed directly at http://student-affairs.ouhsc.edu/documents/RegentsHealthInsurancePolicy.pdf. Further information on student health may be accessed at OUHSC Student Health Services
Health Requirements All entering medical students must submit the Health Sciences Center health history form and immunization record. University policy requires all students provide proof of specific immunizations within thirty days of enrollment. In addition, medical students must participate in a program of periodic tuberculin skin testing unless medically contraindicated. Immunization records are maintained in Student Health Services.
The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and its affiliated institutions require professional liability insurance for all students while participating in required clinical experiences. Negotiated by the College, premiums are included in matriculation fees for enrollment.
