The Radiology Residency Program
The OU Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program is a stimulating educational experience that prepares residents for successful careers in radiology and its various specialties. The program benefits from a large volume of case material from three major hospitals, a busy outpatient facility, ancillary facilities and a large referral network throughout the entire state and beyond. The major technological innovations in imaging have accelerated the challenges but also the interest in the field. Radiological training requires intense concentration and long hours of study for many years. The red "O" in our logo is crossed by numerous lines, and represents the diverse aspects of the successful applicant to our Program. Candidates are selected after evaluation from many angles. We seek residents with a strong academic history, a passion for the visual and technical aspects of radiology, an interest in research and other scholarly activities and a curiosity about the business of radiology. Our focus is improving access and delivering high quality diagnostic services, striving for excellence in every venue.
