Curriculum
The curriculum has two phases, didactic training and clinical rotations.
Didactic Training
The Didactic training begins in early June and lasts for 15 months. Students are exposed to a vigorous training schedule with classes held from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday with occasional evening and Saturday classes.

Clinical Rotations
Clinical Rotations Begins in September and lasts 15 months and contains 60 credit Hours
Rotations include:
- Pediatrics: One 1-Month Rotation
- Surgery: One 1-Month Rotation
- Primary Care/Family Medicine: One 2-Month Rotation, One 1-Month Rotation
- Mental Health: One 1-Month Rotation
- Medicine: Three 1-Month Rotations
- Emergency Medicine: One 2-Month Rotation
- Obstetrics and Gynecology: One 1-Month Rotation
- Preceptorship: One 1-Month Rotation
- Long Term Care: One 1-Month Rotation
- Elective: One 1-Month Rotation
All rotations with the exception of the preceptorship are within the state of Oklahoma. Rotation sites are selected by the PA Program. Because of the intensity of the program, it is recommended that the student not hold an outside job during their tenure at the University.
