OU Medicine will conduct high quality medical education programs for all health care providers. Through innovative education, OU Medicine will attract, develop and retain outstanding faculty and students. We will continuously develop and refine education programs for students and trainees by providing modern, up-to-date and technically sophisticated facilities and equipment for contemporary medical education and training.
Advancing Knowledge
OU Medicine will concentrate basic and translational research by expanding and/or creating the infrastructure necessary to support enlarging our clinical research programs. We will apply our strengths to developing new therapies and new technologies in carefully selected areas. OU Medicine will also advance knowledge through clinical trials at the Stephenson Cancer Center and other medical disciplines.
