The Department of Food and Nutrition is leading the way in researching and providing information and services to meet the nutritional needs of patients during their hospital stay and their recovery. Working collaboratively with the team of dietitians, the Department offers outpatient consultations and medical nutrition therapy.
Every day, we serve over 5,000 meals to patients and also provide food services to nearly 11,000 visitors, and staff. We also offer vital nutrition education programs that empower patients and their families to make appropriate dietary choices that promote good health.
