If you live in rural Oklahoma, chances are, hunting is second nature. Ty Kiser, of Sulphur, Oklahoma never thought his venture into the woods behind his house would end up almost fatal. It happened on a summer night in June, 2011 when Ty and his friends went hunting. One of the guns accidentally went off and a bullet struck Ty in his chest. A helicopter flew Ty to the Trauma One Center at OU Medical Center where he needed emergency surgery and had a better chance of dying than living.
