Nurse Midwives Services
At more than two-thirds of all births worldwide, a midwife is present. We can serve as your primary provider for obstetrical care, or we can assist with your physician. Our services include:
- Consultations at no charge to discuss philosophy of care, credentials and birth options
- Preconception and family planning
- Pregnancy testing
- Prenatal tests, including ultrasounds
- Supportive care and education throughout pregnancy, labor and birth
- Vaginal birth as an option to women who have previously had a cesarean
- Obstetricians/gynecologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists and neonatologists services if risk factors become evident
- Comprehensive postpartum care, breast-feeding instruction and support, baby care education
- Gynecologic exams
- Menopause care
