Our pediatric cardiologists care for children of all ages, including newborns whose hearts are the size of a thimble. We have seven pediatric cardiologists, and one pediatric cardiology nurse practitioner, more than any other practice in the state.
We offer comprehensive services to children with congenital heart disease. We have the only programs in the region providing complete management for hypoplastic left-heart syndrome and for treating children with arrhythmia.
The pediatric cardiac imaging lab we use includes digital technology, giving it the highest imaging capabilities.
We also provide the state's only pediatric cardiology telemedicine services. Through this system, echocardiograms can be transmitted from remote locations to a pediatric cardiologist who views the images immediately, then makes a diagnosis that would be impossible without evaluation of the images. This service is available 24 hours a day.
