During a child’s time at the Children’s Heart Center, he or she will be seen by a variety of doctors, nurses and staff. From tests to outpatient procedures, surgery and more, our services are all provided by the most talented, compassionate team of specialists.

Our team:

  • Performs more than 450 complex cardiothoracic surgeries each year
  • Collaborates across department lines to implement new and innovative treatments
  • Conducts groundbreaking research on hypoplastic left heart syndrome with nationally renowned colleagues from across the country
  • Provides the latest invasive and noninvasive technologies and procedures to save lives
  • Works with patients and family members to ensure they’re directly involved in treatment decisions
  • Cares for the tiniest hearts through our extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) program, a nationally designated ECMO Center of Excellence
  • Pays close attention to the nonmedical needs of our patients and their families
  • Brings smiles to patients during one of the more than 10,000 outpatient visits each year
