Children's Heart Center

Programs and Services

Our Hearts at Home program is designed to provide improved follow-up care between the first and second surgeries for patients with single-ventricle and other complex congenital cardiac anomalies.

The program provides parents with access to specialists who are able to provide them with the training and information they need to successfully implement home-based care strategies. Recurring and frequent clinic visits are scheduled to review care plans, treatment goals and other important issues.

Our program provides detailed protocols and practices for tracking proper growth and development of these patients.  Thanks to generous support, we are able to provide digital scales and oxygen-saturation monitors to the parents of every one of our single-ventricle patients.
