Faculty Affairs is under the leadership of Sheila M. Crow, PhD. As the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs & Professional Development, Sheila leads our efforts to provide professional development activities that ensure successful recruitment, appointment, retention and promotion and train and educate leaders able to promote the college’s mission and vision. Her goal is to build a culture that supports faculty vitality and wellness across the enterprise.

Dr. Crow has more than 30 years’ experience working in academic medicine. Her interests include the professional development of medical educators, the advancement of women and underrepresented minority faculty, mentorship, and building organizational structures that support the role of faculty in academic medicine.
