The Oral and Maxillofacial Patholgy faculty members are jointly appointed through the College of Dentistry and College of Medicine.  They are also members of the Graduate Faculty.  Teaching activities involve dental, dental hygiene, and medical students as well as dental graduate students, dental resident students, and pathology student residents.

The faculty members operate the Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Laboratory, which accesses specimens for microscopic diagnosis referred from across the United States.  These referral cases include odontogenic tumors, neoplastic and non-neoplastic salivary gland conditions, and mucosal and osseous lesions.  The faculty members are responsible for the microscopic diagnosis of oral and maxillofacial pathology cases at Everett Tower, Children's Hospital, Presbyterian Tower, Children's Hospital, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, all located on the OUHSC campus.  Faculty members conduct clinical research activities and are affiliated with the Hard Tissue Research Laboratory.  More information is available on The College of Dentistry home page.
