Research Interests

This laboratory investigates cellular mechanisms of exosome microRNA signaling in cancer cells and their potential implications in cancer diagnosis and therapy. We are also interested in developing combination therapies using docosahexaenoic acid (a long chain n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid), and other anticancer drugs. A combination of cellular, molecular, and biochemical approaches are applied to address critical questions using experimental model systems and patient specimens.
