Genetics Jobs

The Section of Pediatric Genetics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is expanding its research, clinical and diagnostic capabilities. We are actively seeking motivated geneticists to join us in this new phase of growth made possible by our philanthropic partner, the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

We are seeking to fill the following positions, however anyone interested in being part of our growth is welcome to contact us. Informal inquiries are welcome.

1) Endowed Research Chairs in Genetics: The Children’s Hospital Foundation has endowed three genetics research chairs. Researchers in any area of human / medical genetics with an established track record of nationally-competitive research funding and high-quality research publications will be considered. MDs, PhDs or MD/PhDs [or their equivalent] at the level of Full Professor or Associate Professor are welcome to apply. These positions will be associated with competitive compensation and start-up funds, including necessary research facilities and space, and practicing clinicians will have protected time for research.

2) Clinical Geneticist: The section of pediatric genetics is seeking an ABMG board certified / board eligible clinical geneticist to join our team. Our clinical team is currently comprised of four clinical geneticists, one PA, and four licensed clinical genetic counselors.
