Orthopedic Surgery Residency

The OU College of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program is an ACGME fully accredited 5-year training program which accepts 6 residents a year at the PGY-1 level.

The residency provides trainees with a well-rounded experience in both general and subspecialty orthopedics.  A solid academic conference schedule supplements an excellent clinical experience gained through a variety of well-structured rotations at the OU Medical Center Level I Trauma Center and Children's Hospital, the Oklahoma City Veterans Administration Medical Center and several private practice hospitals in the surrounding Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

The department appreciates the time you have taken to visit our website.  We are proud of the high quality of residents who graduate from our program and work hard to continue our tradition of excellence into the future.  Please explore the website for more information and let us know if you have any questions.
