About Philip Comp
Dr. Comp sees patients with hematologic disorders including too many and too few red blood cells and too many or too few blood platelets. He Comp is expert in bleeding and clotting problems, such hemophilia and deep vein thrombosis. Dr. Comp’s research centered on why people develop blood clots and how blood clots can be prevented. He discovered protein S deficiency, one of the major inherited causes of blood clots in the veins.
