      Project Title: Determinants of Catheter Ablation Failure
      Source: National Institutes of Health, Mentored Career Development Award (K-23).
      Principal Investigator, 75%.
      Funding: $130,820 per year for 5 years.
      Study Period: January 1, 2003 - December 1, 2008.
      Purpose: To investigate the reasons of catheter ablation failure for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardias, such as AV nodal reentrant tachycardia and accessory pathway-mediated tachycardia.

      Project Title: Neural Basis of Cardiac Arrhythmia
      Source: American Heart Association, Grant-in-Aid
      Principal Investigator, 20%:
      Funding: $65,000 per year for two years
      Study Period: January 1, 2006 to December 30, 2007
      Purpose: Using different stimulation techniques to investigate the neural basis of several common arrhythmias (atrial fibrillation, idiopathic ventricular tachycardia and inappropriate sinus tachycardia) that are difficult to treat. This study focuses on developing new treatments for these arrhythmias.

      Project Title: Optical Mapping of Conduction Obstacle Related Ventricular Tachyarrhythmias
