Physical Therapists

Lindsey Caldwell, PT, DPT

Lindsey is a native Oklahoman and the newest addition to our staff.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and exercise science from the Oklahoma State University in 2005.  She then graduated with honors from Langston University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Lindsey's clinical skills are well rounded and she takes great pride in being able to work with all types of physical therapy diagnoses.  This includes spinal issues, extremities, neuological, pediatrics and sports medicine.  She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. 

In her spare time she enjoys running, cheering on OSU and spending time with her beagle.

Alissa Hejl, PT, DPT

Allissa Hejl

Allissa grew up in various parts of Texas and Louisiana before moving to Edmond for college.  She went to Oklahoma Christian University where she played softball for four years and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her B.S. in biology.  She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

She enjoys running, being outdoors, shopping and spending time with her family.  She roots for the Houston Astros, Texas A&M, and the Thunder. 

Janet Caldwell, PT

Janet Caldwell is a native Oklahoman and has lived in Edmond since 1985.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma.

Janet has been practicing physical therapy for 22 years.  She previously worked as an inpatient therapist at Edmond Medical Center. Janet now enjoys the challenges of the outpatient setting and providing individualized patient care to all ages.  She feels blessed to be a part of the wonderful team at Edmond Physical Therapy serving this community.

Janet enjoys volunteering at church and spending her free time with her husband, Hub, and daughter, Camille.


Ken Caldwell, PT, CSCS

Ken grew up in Buffalo, New York and graduated with a degree in psychology in 1994, then physical therapy in 1996 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is currently working towards his doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas.

Since 1996 Ken has worked in a number of different settings but now specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine.  He assists with sports medicine coverage for the three Edmond Public High Schools.  He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist along with being a member of the APTA and NSCA.

He moved to Edmond to be closer to family.  In his free time he enjoys exercising, cooking, watching sports and hanging out with his dog.

Wade Collins, PT

Wade hails from Northwest Oklahoma City where he resided after graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in physical therapy.

Wade has worked in both acute and outpatient rehabilitation for the past 16 years.  He has over 10 years of osteopathic manual therapy experience in the treatment of spinal pain.

Wade's greatest joys are serving his patients, bible study with friends and currently learning to play the acoustic guitar.

 


Kristin Gibson, PT, CLT, ATC

Kristin was born right here in Edmond and was a graduate of Edmond Memorial High School.  She attended Oklahoma State University for two years and then transferred to the University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.  She is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer.

Kristin is the director of Edmond Physical Therapy and has been practicing as a physical therapist for over 20 years.  Her areas of specialty include orthopedics, sports medicine, and lymphedema.

Kristin and her husband, Brent, have two sons. The oldest attends OSU and the other is a student at Edmond North High School.  She enjoys bible study, family time, exercising, and snow skiing.

Cherie Short, PT, CIMT, CPI, CRI

Cherie graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1978, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.

In addition to inpatient therapy, she has worked in outpatient rehabilitation for over 20 years, and has certification as a Pilates instructor in mat and reformer.  She has extensive training in manual therapy techniques and is a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist.

Cherie resides in Edmond.  She has four children who have all attended OSU.  She is involved in bible study and enjoys painting, sewing, and playing piano. She also likes cheering on OSU and watching Big 12 sports.

Office Staff

Candee Langford, Office Coordinator

Candee is originally from McAlester, Oklahoma.  She attended the University of Oklahoma and Eastern Oklahoma State College.

She and her husband Pat have lived in Edmond for seventeen years and have a son that attends Edmond Memorial High School.

Candee enjoys reading, horseback riding, and watching her son play football for the Bulldogs.



Betty Morgan, Patient Services Representative

Betty

Betty traveled extensively as a child and now calls Edmond her home.  She graduated from Draughon Business College in Springfield, Missouri. 

She has been with OU Medical Center since 2005 but prior to that she served as the office manager for a local doctor.  She has a broad knowledge of billing and insurance issues which compliment her customer service skills. 

She has three sons, two of whom currently serve in the military, and one grandson.  She is an avid sports fan.  When not at work she enjoys reading, swimming, camping, and family time with her sons and grandson.
