About Pulmonology

If you battle respiratory problems, our pulmonologists can help. They use a pulmonary function laboratory to assist with complete evaluations. Based upon our doctors' analysis of this testing and other evaluations, a specific treatment plan is created for your needs. Sometimes this includes treatments, such as brachytherapy for lung cancers and stents to open airways in the bronchial tubes. Clinical trials also may provide you with the opportunity to try promising, innovative treatments not available elsewhere.

Let our pulmonologists help if you have:

  • Asthma
  • Sleep disorders
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Acute respiratory distress syndrome
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Lung cancer
  • Windpipe and bronchial obstructions

When beneficial, our pulmonologists work with specialists from other fields, such as surgery, oncology, neurology, respiratory care and nutrition, providing a multidisciplinary approach to your care for optimal health.
