Mission and Goals


The educational mission of the Clinical Skills Education & Testing Center (CSETC) is to enhance clinical training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine through the innovative integration of Standardized Patients and medical simulation activities into the educational curriculum. 


The CSETC's goal is to be a multi-disciplinary, fully functioning clinical skills and medical simulation training facility. The CSETC will enhance and expand undergraduate and postgraduate medical education activities on the OUHSC campus. Ongoing efforts and future plans will allow the CSETC to expand medical simulation educational offerings to additional clinical specialties and providers on the OUHSC campus, as well as those in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and statewide. 

The CSETC's educational programs span the four-year medical school curriculum and the post-graduate training years. They focus on enhancing:
