Disordered Eating Program at OU Children's Physicians

Middleman-smaller

Our Adolescent Medicine Disordered Eating Program addresses the medical and psychological needs of patients ages 10 to 24 who are referred for treatment. We promote a patient-centered, family-supported approach to protect the adolescent’s health during a crucial period of growth and development. Outpatient care coordinates medical, psychotherapy and dietitian services in one location. This supports consistency and strong communication toward recovery. Inpatient services are utilized as needed as part of the treatment.

Our program sees youth struggling with:

• Anorexia Nervosa

• Bulimia Nervosa

• Binge Eating Disorder

• Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder

• Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder

Our program provides access to full treatment services for all of Oklahoma’s and neighboring states’ adolescents struggling with eating disorders. Call the OU Children’s Physicians Adolescent Medicine clinic to schedule an appointment.
