Children With Cleft - Teenager

In teenage years, your child may require Orthodontics (braces) for correction of the dental changes caused by the cleft. Some of our patients may also require Orthognathic Surgery (Jaw Surgery). We follow our patients to ensure proper psychosocial integration and psychological health. Often minor cometic differences and speech or dental changes can have profound psychological effects. A well-times minor cosmetic revision can often help.
