About our Care
The Jimmy Everest Center provides state-of-the-art care for children and adolescents with cancer and blood disorders. We educate patients, families, and health care professionals as well as we conduct research to improve patient outcomes.
Cure rates vary according to the type of cancer, but overall childhood cancer survival rates have improved since the 1950s from less than 10 percent to about 84 percent. These statistics provide hope for families and children dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
