RHEUMATOLOGIST JOINS OU PHYSICIANS

PrakashPriya-Rheum01      OKLAHOMA CITY – Rheumatologist Priya Prakash, M.D., has established her practice with OU Physicians. She has also been named an assistant professor for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

      Rheumatologists diagnose and treat degenerative and inflammatory disorders of connective tissues (i.e., arthritis). Prakash also has a special interest in autoimmune inflammatory eye diseases like uveitis.

      Prakash is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in rheumatology. She completed a fellowship in rheumatology and an internal medicine residency at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. She earned a medical degree in ophthalmology in India.

      Prakash is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians.
