Janet Caldwell, PT

Janet Caldwell is a native Oklahoman and has lived in Edmond since 1985.  Janet spent her younger years  growing up in Ponca City and then attending the University of Oklahoma where she received their Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy for the University of Oklahoma.

Janet has been practicing physical therapy for over 30 years. She enjoys the challenges of the outpatient setting and providing individualized patient care to all ages.   She is blessed to  be part of the wonderful team at Edmond Physical therapy providing care to the  growing community of Edmond.
Janet enjoys spending empty nest time with her husband Hub. She is a fan of OU athletics and also stays active playing tennis.

Lindsey Caldwell, PT, DPT

Lindsey is a native Oklahoman and grew up in Enid, OK where she participated in gymnastics, track, and cheer. She received her Bachelor of Science in nutrition and exercise science from Oklahoma State University in 2005. She then graduated with honors from Langston University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Lindsey has been a member of the Edmond Physical Therapy team since 2009. Her clinical skills are well rounded and she takes great pride in being able to work with all types of physical therapy diagnoses. She has a special interest in outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics and sports medicine. She is also a member of both the Oklahoma and American Physical Therapy Associations since 2006.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken, and two children, Carter and Chloe. She also enjoys traveling, working out, cheering on the OSU Cowboys, OKC Thunder, and UCO Hockey team.

Wade Collins, PT, IASTM-C, AIB-VRC 

Wade is a native Oklahoman from Mustang who now lived in the Edmond area. He received his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University before transferring to the University of Oklahoma for his graduate degree in physical therapy.

Wade has worked in a variety of settings, including as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for ​more than 20 years. He has more than 18 years of experience in orthopedic manual therapy for spinal pain and dysfunction. He also has a specialized certification for treating patients with vestibular balance disorders. 

Wade's greatest joys are serving his patients, spending time with family and friends as well as playing 
acoustic guitar and harmonica. 

Chris Cox, Ph.D., MPT, CSCS

ChriscoxChris has a master's degree in physical therapy from Wichita State University and a doctoral degree in health and human performance from Oklahoma State University. He received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification in 2009. He also has taught spine and extremity orthopedic courses at Langston University.

Currently he working on a research project in coordination with the University of Central Oklahoma involving how dear and avoidance behaviours in athletes affect rehabilitation of their injuries. He is also working on a Master's of Population Health degree from the University of Alabama. 


Kristin Gibson, PT, CLT, ATC

Kristin was born in Edmond and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School where she was a cheerleader and ran track. She continued her education and cheerleading at Oklahoma State University before transferring to the University of Oklahoma where she received her degree in physical therapy.  After graduation, she went on to obtain her certification as an ​athletic trainer.

Kristin has been practicing as a physical therapist at Edmond Physical Therapy for over 30 years. Her areas of specialty include orthopedics, sports medicine, and hyperhidrosis.

Kristin and her husband Brent, have two grown sons who are married and live in Edmond. She is known as “Lolli” to her precious grandchildren who she loves spending time with.  he also enjoys family time, bible study, church activities, volunteering, exercising, and traveling.

Alissa Hejl, PT, DPT

Allissa HejlAllissa graduated high school in Katy, TX. She came to Edmond on a softball scholarship at Oklahoma Christian University where she played all four years and graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Biology.  She then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She enjoys working with both general orthopedic and neurological conditions.

She has two daughters that keep her busy and is an active member at the Memorial Road Church of Christ.  She loves sweet tea, chips and queso, crafting, running, and her porch swing. She roots for the Houston Astros, Texas A&M, and the OKC Thunder. 


Cherie E. McKinstry, PT, CIMT, Cert-DN, CPI, CRI

Cherie graduated from the University of New Mexico in 1978, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy with Distinction.

In addition to inpatient therapy, she has worked in outpatient rehabilitation for over 30 years. She has extensive training in manual therapy techniques and is a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist, Certified in Dry Needling, has a Myofascial Cupping Practitioner Certification, and is certified in Pilates, both mat and Reformer.

Cherie resides in Edmond, with her husband, Skip.  Between them, they have 8 children, and 6 grandchildren. In her free time, she loves spending time with her grandchildren and going to barre classes. She is also involved in leading support groups for women at her church, and learning Hebrew.


Candee Langford, Administrative Assistant

Candee is  originally from Mcalester Okla. She attended the University of Oklahoma and Eastern Oklahoma State College and studied  ​business management. Candee and her husband Pat have been married and have lived in Edmond for more than 28 years. They  have ​three grown children and have six grandchildren with another on the way. They enjoy weekends at the lake in their RV,  boating, spending lots of time with grandchildren watching baseball and soccer games.  

Candee has been a part of the Edmond Physical Therapy Team for almost 15 years.  Patients and providers can always contact Candee at Edmond Physical Therapy for information regarding scheduling, ​insurance, or general information on what is required or necessary to receive the most advanced physical therapy care in Edmond.  

Betty Morgan, Senior Patient Services Representative

BettyBetty traveled extensively as a child and has called Edmond her home for the last 29 years. She graduated from Draughon Business College in Springfield, Missouri. 

She has been with OU Medical Center since 2005, serving as a financial counselor for the ​hospital before moving to the outpatient physical therapy department. Prior to coming to OU Medical Center, she served as the office manager for a local doctor. She has a broad knowledge of billing and insurance issues which compliment her customer service skills. 

She is married to Trey and has three sons, two of whom have served in the military, and one grandson.  She is an avid sports fan. When not at work she enjoys reading, swimming, camping, volunteering at her church and family time with her sons and grandson. She enjoys watching her grandson play ice hockey and baseball.
