Volunteers Applications and Information

Adult volunteers

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers must be 18 years of age, unless enrolled in our Teen Program, and be available at least four hours a week for at least a year. Currently, our greatest need is daytime hours for the Information Desk, Coffee and Magazine Carts, Patient Mail Delivery, and Office Assistance. However, other tasks and other times are needed as well, Gift Shop, ER Rounding, Evening Pet Therapy, and one-day-per week popcorn days.

All applicants are required to have an interview session. Once accepted, applicants complete a health screening (including a drug test), pass a background check and attend an orientation session to prepare for the volunteer position. This process may take 3-4 weeks. All requirements are provided by the hospital at no cost to the volunteer. Please call or email for schedule of Informational Sessions.

Teen Volunteer Program is available for summer and year-round. Applications for the summer program are due in April.
