Faculty and Staff

Rhonda Sparks, M.D., Medical Director - Associate Clinical Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine, as well as the Faculty Advisor for the OU Community Health Alliance, Dr. Sparks coordinates with clinicians across campus to develop and deliver new teaching and learning activities in the Clinical Skills Education & Testing Center (CSETC).  Dr. Sparks is also the Director of the Standardized Patient Program and maintains a part-time clinical practice in the Oklahoma City area.

Jason Lees, M.D., Assistant Professor, Trauma Surgery, Department of Surgery; Co-Director, Surgical Skills and Simulation Lab - Dr. Lees specializes in trauma surgery and coordinates all educational programs in the Surgical Skills and Simulation Lab.

Matthew McCoy, M.ED., Simulation Manager - Mr. McCoy manages simulation.  This will be more verbose once data is submitted.

Michelle Wallace, B.S., CSETC Standardized Patient Program and Special Programs Coordinator - Ms. Wallace coordinates educational and assessment activities in the CSETC and all educational activities utilizing Standardized Patients. She coordinates the development of clinical scenarios for use in standardized examinations, SP training standardized exam cases and the implementation of the end-of-year college-wide standardized examinations. She is also responsible for increasing utilization of SPs and the CSETC.

Rose Yandell, CSETC Simulation and Special Programs Coordinator - Ms. Yandell coordinates activities in the CSETC's Medical Simulation Center and is responsible for expanding its use in clinical education on the Health Sciences Center campus and in the surrounding medical community. She coordinates a multi-departmental collaboration to incorporate clinical simulation into the educational curriculum. She is also responsible for increasing utilization of the CSETC.

Kim Jackson, Clinical Medicine Course Coordinator - Ms. Jackson does very important things as the coordinator for the Clinical Medicine course or program.

Nick Bowen, Simulation Technician -  Mr. Bowen provides IT and audio/visual support for learning activities at the CSETC.  He is also responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining high-fidelity simulators and simulation equipment.
