Nasal Endoscopy

During a Naso Endoscopy, the doctor wll spray numbing medicine in your child’s nose, then pass a thin flexible camera to the back of the nose to the level of the palate. Your child will then be asked to repeat a standard set of words and sentences while the camera is recording. This test is used to diagnose and guide treatment in conditions such as Velopharyngeal Insufficience and Dysfunction (VPI/VPD) and provides additional information to the Palatogram test.
