The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is dedicated to providing optimal care for infants, children, adolescents, and adults who are affected by disorders of sex development (DSD). Additionally, we provide education concerning DSD to parents and family members of affected individuals and to healthcare providers who serve these patients and their families. The SUCCEED Clinic is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of pediatric and adult sub-specialists committed to providing state-of-the-art, evidence-based care. The goals of our team include: (1) determining a DSD diagnosis when possible, (2) providing medical and surgical treatment recommendations when possible, (3) providing medical and surgical care to patients, (4) providing education and support to patients, their families and healthcare professionals who serve them and (5) conducting research to further our understanding of the causes of, and treatments for, DSD. For those affected by DSD who do not require medical or surgical treatment, our team can provide ongoing education and support. Our SUCCEED Clinic team is committed to working in partnership with referring physicians to maintain active collaboration between primary care providers and other sub-specialists.
