  • Vesicoureteral reflux (condition in which urine travels backward from the bladder toward the kidney and may affect one or both ureters)

  • Hernias/hydroceles

  • Hydronephrosis

  • Penile abnormalities

We also specialize in treating more unique or complex genitourinary conditions, such as:

  • Bladder reconstruction

  • Genital abnormalities

  • Kidney failure

  • Stone disease

  • Birth defects of the genitourinary system:

          - Spina bifida

    - Disorder of Sexual Development (DSD)

    - Cloacal anomalies

In addition to medication and conventional surgery, we also offer minimally-invasive surgical procedures for certain conditions that result in less postoperative discomfort, a shorter hospital stay and a speedier recovery for your child. We have interdisciplinary teams for a variety of disease processes such as stone disease, endocrine disorders and spina bifida.
