Tenure-track Faculty Position – University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Physiology

The Department of Physiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degrees and have demonstrated record of research accomplishments, publications, extramural funding, and a well-defined research vision.  We seek individuals with interests in all areas of basic research in, but not limited to, diabetes and diabetic complications, oxidative stress, angiogenesis, fibrosis and inflammation.  The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center has a large and dynamic diabetes research community including the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center (see http://haroldhamm.org/). Competitive laboratory space, salary and start-up funds will be offered. Position – University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Physiology

The Department of Physiology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center invites applications for a full time teaching position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and have an excellent teaching record. The faculty member will participate in the department’s courses to medical, dental, physicians associate, pharmacy, and graduate students. The faculty member will be expected to eventually become a course director and participate in educational research and collaborative research in the department. Competitive salary and start-up funds will be offered commensurate with experience.
