About our Care
A diagnosis of a heart condition can be scary for the whole family. It’s especially stressful when the patient is a child. Whether it’s discovered prior to birth, within the first few hours or months of life, during the school-age years, or even into adulthood, it’s comforting to know the Children’s Heart Center at Children’s Hospital is here for your family. Our sole focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of your child’s complex congenital or acquired heart condition.
Children in Oklahoma have exceptional heart care, right here at home.
Teamwork reaps great rewards: At the Children’s Heart Center, we believe in a team approach to the care and treatment of congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, heart murmurs, and irregular heart rhythms. We are staffed by an expert team of highly skilled and family-centered doctors, nurses, technologists, and support staff from The Children’s Hospital and OU Children’s Physicians.
Oklahoma’s premier provider: From prenatal consultation and noninvasive diagnostic imaging to complex transcatheter intervention and cardiothoracic surgery, the Children’s Heart Center team is the most comprehensive provider of the latest tests and techniques for the care and treatment of congenital heart disease in the state.
A community resource: Each year, thousands of children from across the state and region are referred to our Children’s Heart Center team. We want you to know that we are a resource for you and your child’s doctor. We’re only a phone call away.
